In line with EDOTCO Group’s commitment to meaningful community development, a recent Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) effort under the “Tower to Community” initiative has extended vital support to St. Joseph Vaz Preschool in Vellankulam, Sri Lanka.

This initiative reflects the Group’s ongoing mission to bridge infrastructure with human impact—uplifting communities by addressing their most immediate and practical needs.

Creating a Conducive Environment for Young Learners

On March 24th, 2025, EDOTCO Sri Lanka proudly delivered a collection of essential items to St. Joseph Vaz Preschool, a small but significant institution serving a rural community in Vellankulam. This contribution was more than just a delivery- it was a gesture of solidarity, care, and hope for the future of the community’s youngest learners. Among the items were a gas cooker to support meal preparation, 64 silver plates and cups to ensure proper nutrition and hygiene, 15 child-friendly plastic chairs to create a welcoming learning space, and dedicated furniture for teachers to support more effective classroom engagement.

Each item was thoughtfully selected to improve not only the daily experience of the preschool’s 32 students but also to empower the two devoted educators who serve them. By providing a more structured, comfortable, and resource-rich environment, EDOTCO Sri Lanka aims to help nurture early childhood development in a setting that fosters learning, safety, and joy. It’s about enabling a space where curiosity can flourish, and where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired to grow.
