Negeri Sembilan, March 14 – EDOTCO Malaysia today announced that it has completed and handed over 27 tower sites for Phase 1 under the National Digital Network Plan (JENDELA) in Negeri Sembilan to the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC). This significant milestone, marked by a ceremony graced by the Negeri Sembilan Chief Minister, Dato’ Seri Utama Hj. Aminuddin bin Harun, signifies a major achievement in the JENDELA project, with Negeri Sembilan being the first state to achieve 100% implementation of Phase 1 infrastructure.

EDOTCO stated that the success of this project is attributed to the close collaborative efforts of all stakeholders involved, including the state government, local authorities, and relevant agencies in overcoming various challenges to complete this project. These challenges included identifying suitable sites, some of which were in forested areas, Orang Asli territories, and reservoirs, as well as difficulties in obtaining permission and approval from landowners for the tower locations.
