edotco to boost network coverage at Mandalay International Airport
Yangon, Myanmar [6 SEPTEMBER 2018] – edotco Myanmar (edotco MM), an integrated telecommunications infrastructure services company has been selected by MC-Jalux Airport Services Co. Ltd. (MJAS) as the exclusive In-building Solutions (IBS) provider for Mandalay International Airport. Through this appointment, edotco will provide the end-to-end solutions required for improving network coverage at the airport.
Deployed earlier this year, edotco’s IBS solutions will deliver seamless, consistent, and high-quality connectivity to millions of passengers travelling through the airport. Mandalay International Airport has recorded a consistent rise in passenger numbers since 2010.
“Myanmar is an emerging tourism destination and Mandalay International Airport has the capacity to handle up to 3 million passengers a year. With connectivity becoming essential to travelers, our strategic collaboration with MJAS will enable mobile operators to provide fast, stable, and reliable services. We will leverage our next generation technologies and industry best practices to improve coverage at the airport,” said Vijendran Watson, Country Managing Director for edotco Myanmar.

Three major network operators Ooredoo Myanmar Limited, Telenor Myanmar Limited and Telecom International Myanmar Company Limited (Mytel) have confirmed participation and begin services as mobile service providers.
