  • Develop and drive uniformity across all countries regarding workflows, processes and systems in delivering Operation Readiness
  • Audit and review NTC workflows, process, tools adoption and digitization for Operation Maturity
  • Function as the Program Management Office (PMO) for Group Operations


Key Accountabilities

  • Develop, implement and roll-out enhancements to existing edotco frameworks/methodologies including development of new forums
  • Act as subject matter expert for ALM (easi), and drive process and system improvements
  • Maintain good relationship with ALM vendor and monitor and ensure SLA performance
  • Create a roadmap for EASI covering 1 calendar year i.e. conclusion every October for the following year
  • Provide oversight and govern multiple functional projects (e.g. Acsys, Fixed Energy model, etc.) concurrently and drive countries to successfully complete the projects On Time and In Full (OTIF)
  • Provide advice and recommendations to turn-around troubled projects within timelines, costs and quality guidelines
  • Act as subject matter expert in project management practices and knowledge. Coach and guide countries project managers resulting in successful deliveries across all projects
  • Identify inter-dependencies across a portfolio of projects and independently agree to a landing on overall project plan in view of dependencies
  • Secure senior management stakeholders’ buy in



Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors Level Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Operations, Telecommunications or similar from a recognized local or international University
  • Accredited courses in Quality Management, Environmental Management, and Occupational Health & Safety Management
  • Training in CSR and Social Accountability would be an advantage
  • At least 10 years of relevant telecom experience with at least 7 years in the telecommunications Industry
  • Prior experience in Operations Management or Managed Services with a Telecommunications Operator, Telecommunications Equipment/Services Vendor, or Telecommunications Site Infrastructure Management Company (Tower Company) is preferred
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution
  • Knowledge of project, contracting, negotiating, and change management
  • Knowledge of Telecommunications Site Infrastructure technology, equipment, passive and power systems and operations
  • Experience with implementation of network integrations in a large division/company


Skills & Knowledge

  • Understanding of Telecommunications Operators/Communications Service Providers key business and technology drivers, network infrastructure support requirements etc.
  • Ability to drive effective change programmes in line with time and budget while maintaining services levels
  • Understanding Operations Support System (OSS) and process management. Familiarity with ITIL and TMF’s eTOM framework is an advantage
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, in English
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
