JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Accountabilities

Job Grading Structure

  • Ensure that edotco’s job grading structure (HRL) is kept up to date with relevant organisation charts, job descriptions and job size
  • Monitor actual versus approved organisation and manpower plans to ensure optimization of jobs and headcount
  • Maintain/update information on functions and jobs required across edotco’s value chain, especially for organisation restructuring that has or will be taking place
  • Recommend and obtain approval for changes to HRLs, for both the job and employee
  • Develop job descriptions and conduct job evaluation to determine appropriate grade and salary level according to compensation policy and guideline for new jobs/new hires

Compensation & Benefits

  • Support the Senior Specialist, C&B in the development and review of Compensation & Benefits plans across the Group
  • Conduct external benchmarking comparisons and analysis periodically to ensure that edotco Group’s Compensation & Benefits is in line and competitive with market and industry practices
  • Manage key compensation processes such as the annual increment, bonus and promotion exercises
  • Continuously review policies & procedures and ensure timely and accurate communication to employees in areas pertaining to HRL and Compensation & Benefits administration
  • Conduct ongoing research into emerging trends, issues and best practices
  • Prepare HR reports on benefits, salary trending, market competitiveness, etc
  • Support HR team and NTCs as and when required, providing expertise on job functions, grading, compensation & benefits
  • Participate as project team member in Group HR projects as required

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or its equivalent
  • 7 years’ relevant experience

Skills and Knowledge

  • Proven experience as a Compensation & Benefits specialist
  • Prior experience in HR practices and compensation cycle management
  • Working knowledge of job evaluation methodology
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Fast learner and ability to scale up in job role
  • Good head for numbers/excellent numerical abilities
  • Excellent analytical ability
