JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Responsible for assisting in the development and growth of edotco’s in-country MeTRO business including but not limited to IBC/DAS/Small Cell/Fibre backhaul/BTS hotel solution

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Implement the in-country MeTRO strategy to grow the line of business in the country
  • Implement the MeTRO marketing plan and activities on strategic venue targets through events, internal teams and carrier partnerships
  • Develop sales plan and build sales pipeline, include Build to Suit, Colocation and Upgrades to achieve assigned sales target.
  • Create value proposition and edotco’s unique selling points in IBS-Small Cells industry.
  • Prepare bid management in selected cases by working closely with MeTRO’s Solution Architect
  • Present edotco’s DAS solutions to key decision-makers and sell the benefits of the solution with value proposition
  • Manage relationship engagement with IBS stakeholders and policy makers i.e. Telecommunications & ICT Regulatory of the country, Telco Operators, Building Societies & Property Developers in driving edotco’s interests on IBS business
  • Ensure that the in-country MeTRO SBU is appropriately organized and resourced
  • Identify additional resources and support when required
  • Build and maintain good relationship with client’s key decision makers in the country
  • Retain and establish new clientele base and retain current edotco’s IBS NTC footprint/installed base
  • Report monthly sales progress and key pursuits
  • Ensure that expenditures of the in-Country MeTRO SBU are within the authorized annual budget
  • Communicate effectively with employees, Government authorities and other stakeholders
  • Ensure effective internal controls and management information systems are in place

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Telecommunications; MBA preferred
  • At least 7 years’ relevant experience in Business Development, Sales, Channel Marketing, preferably in the telecommunications industry
  • Technical background in telecommunications technologies, especially mobile technologies 2G-> 5G, IBS
  • Special focus on small cells and in building systems, fibre backhaul, BTS hoteling, CRAN solutions
  • Strong commercial sense and skills
