edotco honors local firms at Myanmar’s first telecommunications infrastructure awards

edotco, Asia’s first regional and integrated telecommunications infrastructure services company, has recognized local company excellence in providing rural and urban connectivity in Myanmar at the country’s inaugral communications infrastructure awards.
edotco Myanmar, part of Malaysia’s edotco Group, has been working closely with local partners and generating employment opportunities nationwide since 2015 following the acquisition of Myanmar Tower Company. It owns and operates more than 1,345 tower sites across the country.
This inaugural event gives recognition to many local companies who, in partnership with edotco, have driven growth and expanded the roles of local entrepreneurs and businesses.
Together with these partners, edotco has created a significant number of job opportunities across the country, both directly and indirectly. edotco’s initiatives and its focus on Operations Excellence has also helped to improve the performance efficiency of many of these companies and raise their capabilities and competencies as they strive to achieve the standards of global best practices.
The awards also recognize different fields of expertise and excellence in contributing to the ongoing efficient and reliable operations of telecommunications towers in the country.
